Toastmasters

7/9

Today was my first to meet MTSU students and Ivan who came from PITT.

After lunch, Bonnie invite everyone to join their english speech group-Toastmasters.

So I went to participate their activity with Vicky、Jason、lydie、Ari、Ivan、Becky、Paulina and Ankit at night.

People there were very kind and warm-hearted, I thought Toastmasters was a very good group.People learn and shared each other there, I will go to participate more times to improve my english communite skill.

Our first trip

We went to play bowling and went to baseball combat field near their dorm. That was our first time to went out with foreign students. After this activity, we are much closer to each other. Play the game is the easiest way to let everyone closer, we did.

After sports, we went to eat Taiwanese restaurant. During our dinner, it's very funny, and I also knew Ankit is a vegetarian ;Ari and Rick don't eat pork.

Lungshan Temple & Shilin nightmarket

I went to visit Taipei with Ari、Matt、Ivan and Ankit.

Because they were interest on temple, we went to visit Lungshan Temple first. The weather is very hot, and there were so many people, but they still had a lot of fun. Everything was so novel to them, I also introduce the history and some visit rule to them.

About six pm we went to Shilin nightmarket, the most famous nightmarket in Taiwan. We shop there and eat there, all of us were so happy.And we took high-speed rail back to Zhonli.

sports

I like sports a lot, and this is a mean reason why we become friends more easier.Especially basketball, we play basketball several times.

I think that there is no barrier on sports, it can makes us healthier and make me have the same subject to talk with boys. No matter where they come from.

7/24 Sunshine, Sandy beach, Bikini

After lunch, the most important moment was coming. We bought some tickets and entered the Fu-Long Beach. Unfortunately, it began to rain. But it could not lower our interest. We changed our dress first and jumped into the water. We played volleyball in the water, but finally the volleyball was taken away by waves and disappeared in the sea. I told someone that Wilson was gone. Although we could not play volleyball, we still had fun in the water. We started to catch waves. It was pretty interesting. Somebody could swim in the waves.
About 5:00 p.m., it was time to go. We went to clean ourselves and also took some pictures. We ate Fu-Long dinner box for dinner. I thought it was good, but somebody didn’t want to eat that. After dinner, we had to go home. Almost everyone was exhausted, so we slept on the bus on the way home.
It was not only a nice trip but also a forever memory to everyone.

7/24 The Cao-ling Ancient Trail

Today, we went to Fu-Long Beach. Esther rent a bus for us and we left CYCU at 9:30 a.m. It took about one and half hours to go Fu-Long Beach from CYCU. Along the way, the driver told Esther something special about Jin-San and Fu-long. And Esther told us later. Everyone was very excited, especially foreigners. The foreigners were curious about the graves on the mountain. On the way, the driver stopped the car on the roadside, let us take pictures off.
When we arrived Fu-Long, it was about 11:00 a.m. It was too early to eat lunch, so we rent some bikes and rode to the Cao-ling Ancient Trail. It was cool in the tunnel. When we were riding in the tunnel, it was raining outside. So we stayed in the tunnel to wait for stop raining. We also took many pictures in the tunnel and outside. I discovered that we had crossed the line between Taipei and Yi-Lan. After riding bike, we went to restaurant for lunch. All of dishes we ate were sea foods. It tasted good.

Taipei 101 & CKS Memorial Hall

After the Cultural Arts Tour in the mourning, we went to Taipei 101 the highest building in Taipei to lunch.Along with the foreign students were in a very interesting part is the introduction of foo.To introduce them food also a big challenge for me,but I can learn to strengthen my language skills.

After lunch we went to Taipei 101 Observatory at 88th to 91st floor.We all very excited to go to observatory, but I also feel a little nervous because I am a little fear of height place.

Get on the fast elevator leading to observatory,it's a really special experience.We only spent about ten minutes on the ninth floor from the 5th floor to the 89th floor.Out of the elevator and see the vast expanse of the Taipei City,the view is so beautiful and extensive.Even though a ticket to the observatory cost 400 NTD,but when I see such good picture, I think all this is worth it.That is my first time to Taipei 101 Observatory,and also my first experience at such a high building.In the Observatory, I forgot my fear, just appreciation of the beauty of Taipei.

About six pm,we went to CKS Memorial Hall.We just stay there a while,took some pictures with National Concert Hall,and watch the beautiful sunset.It's also a nice trip with my friends.

National Palace Museum

This is our second trip to Taipei.We went to two representative place in Taipei,in the mourning we went to National Palace Museum,and we went to lunch in Taipei 101 and then went to Taipei 101 Observatory which the highest place in Taiwan.Finally we visit Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in order to commemorate the memory of our great leader..

Even though I've already been to the National Palace Museum,when we arrived National Palace Museum I was impressed by it's construction.Many of it's buildings are rich in traditional Chinese beauty.Went into the hall as temples in general began this morning arts and culture tour.

Visit Hsinchu Science Park

In the afternoon, we went visit Hsinchu Science Park the origin place of Taiwan's science center.In administrative center of Hsinchu Science Park, we watch a video and a lady introduce tha history of Hsinchu Science Park clearly.At this trip in Hsinchu Science Park , we can know about how the industry structure transform into high-tech industry.





And we also saw some high-tech products, by using those interesting stuffs make me learning a little thinking about high-tech products.It's funny and full of the significance of education.

konichiwataiwan: Trip to Taipei

This is our first trip with foreign student.We visit Taipei city traffic information center and High-Capacity Operations Control Center(OCC).It's very important to Taiwan people,because the traffic in Taiwan is very busy.So we need these control center to task are the control and monitor operations at all level.It's my first time to visit (OCC),it's interesting and helpful.

After we ate lunch in Taipei train station,we took MRT to Tamshui.On the way to Tamshui I stand with Matt from PITT state university.We have the same subject to talk,we talk about sports and movies and we have a good time on chatting.In Tamshui,I introduce him some traditional stuffs at the old street,and I also show him the regular succession to make a formal visit to Taiwan temple.Finally,we went to visit valentine's bridge,and saw a very beautiful sunset.

After the first trip,I start to talk with foreign student initiatively,and I will keep doing this to improve my communication ability.
